2025 - 2027 Ceasar Lake Outfitters Yukon Hunt Raffle
Rule Requirements
1. Ticket purchaser must be 18 years of age or older, and the name of a minor must not be written on the ticket.
2. Ticket sellers must advise purchasers not to write the name of a person under the age of 18 years of age on the ticket.
3. Tickets cannot be sold or advertised outside of Alberta.
4. Members of the Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society and their families are eligible to purchase tickets and win prizes.
5. A minimum of 500 tickets must be sold before requesting a draw date extension or cancellation of the raffle. In the event that the raffle is cancelled the revenues from the ticket sales will be refunded.
6. A total of 700 tickets will be printed at the selling price of $100.00 each.
7. The ticket purchaser can pick up their tickets during business hours at the Valleyview & District Agricultural Society at 4202 40th Ave, or tickets can be mailed to the purchaser.
8. Winners will be chosen at random from a draw drum including all sold tickets by a non-partisan individual.
9. All Draws will be open to the public and witnessed by two executive board members of the Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society and a Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society Building Committee member. All ticket(s) will be drawn by a non-partisan individual.
10. The Grand Prize Draw of a $35,000.00 CAD hunt credit for any hunt with Backcountry BC & Beyond OR Ceasar Lake Outfitters. This credit can be used like cash for any hunt offered. The draw will be held on May 3, 2025. The draw will take place at the Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society Exhibition Grounds at 4202 40th Ave Valleyview, Alberta.
11. The winner has the responsibility of contacting Dustin Roe at 1-250-919-0184 of Backcountry BC & Beyond, Ceasar Lake Outfitters to book the hunt which must be taken in 2025 thru to 2027 based on availability. The hunter may upgrade to any hunt or split between two hunters at market value but are solely responsible for paying the difference.
12. The arrival and departure point is Watson Lake, Yukon.
13. The winner is solely responsible for other associated costs included Guide tips, transportation to and from Watson Lake, Yukon, taxidermy costs and government harvest fees/royalties and purchasing of alcohol.
14. Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society will be responsible for awarding all prizes and ensuring that all reasonable efforts are made to contact the prize winners.
15. If the prize winner(s) cannot be located within three months from the date of the draw the prize or monies will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by AGLC.
16. The winners of the prizes shall be determined and publicized. Winners will be notified by telephone. Winners shall be published on social media sites.
17. No Refunds, all ticket sales are final.
18. Only prizes as described and approved by the license application shall be rewarded. There will be no ‘cash’ alternative for the Grand Prize of the $35,000.00 hunt credit with Backcountry BC & Beyond or Ceasar Lake Outfitters.
19. Only one name can be assigned per ticket. In the event that there are two names on the winning ticket the prize will be awarded to the first name on the ticket. Neither the Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society or AGLC shall be responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
20. Payment for tickets by cheque must be received within 14 days prior to draw date. In the event of an NSF Cheque the purchaser of the ticket will be required to pay the NSF bank fee, furthermore the tickets purchased will be null and void.
21. A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket requests returned for insufficient funds will be voided automatically.
22. In the event of a complaint, contact can be made to the Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society Administrator at 780-524-3473 or email valleyviewagsociety@gmail.com. The Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society’s Administrator will bring forward any concerns to the executive and board responsible for facilitating the raffle.
