Crocus Hill Stampede 2026 August 7, 8, 9

 The Crocus Hill Stampede Parade is back on Friday, August 7, 2026, and we can't wait to see our community come together to kick off Stampede weekend!

Whether you're entering a float, riding horseback, bringing farm equipment, representing your business or organization, or simply gathering your neighbours for a fun entry, everyone is welcome to join the celebration.

Awards will be presented in several categories, so gather your team, decorate your entry, and help us make this year's parade the biggest and best yet!

Come celebrate our community, our traditions, and the spirit of the Crocus Hill Stampede!

We're inviting businesses throughout Valleyview to join the fun by decorating for the 2026 Crocus Hill Stampede!

Decorate your business August 4–7 for a chance to earn the 2026 Stampede Spirit Award. Judging takes place Friday, August 7.

To ensure our judges don't miss your display, please register on our website by July 31.

Entries for Local & Junior Events!

Entry forms for the Crocus Hill Stampede Local & Junior Events (August 8, 2025) will be available online.

We welcome local competitors and junior contestants to take part in this exciting weekend of rodeo action. Don’t miss your chance to compete in front of your hometown crowd!

We’re currently accepting vendor applications for:

• Handmade goods

• Western décor

• Local products

• Gently used tack and equipment

• Crafts, treats & more!

This is a great opportunity to showcase your products to a crowd of rodeo-goers and community supporters.

Experience the excitement of the Wildrose Rodeo Association (WRA) Rodeo at the 2026 Crocus Hill Stampede! 

Watch some of Alberta's top amateur rodeo athletes compete in two action-packed afternoons featuring all your favourite rodeo events, from barrel racing and team roping to saddle bronc, bull riding, steer wrestling, and more.

Whether you're a lifelong rodeo fan or attending your very first rodeo, the WRA Rodeo is sure to be a highlight of Stampede weekend.

Contestants
Entry Day for the Crocus Hill Stampede is Wednesday, July 29. Contestants can find entry information, draws, standings, and additional details through the Wildrose Rodeo Association website. 

Come cheer on the competitors, enjoy the western atmosphere, and be part of one of Northern Alberta's premier rodeo weekends!

There is always fun things for kids to participate in.  Some events are barrel racing, goat tail untying, goat tying, mutton bustin' and bareback pony riding. Mechanical Bucking Bull both days.
