Our First Aid classes are offered in a blended format.
If you are certifying for the first time or your previous certification has expired, you must complete the required online portion before the in-person class.
If your certification is still valid (expiring within 90 days) as of the in-person class date, you may register for the in-person session only. Please bring your current certification with you on the day of training.

If this is your first time taking First Aid training or your certification has expired, please follow these steps:
1️⃣ Complete the Online Portion
- Register and complete the online First Aid component through St. John Ambulance before class day. (instructions on how to do this are at the bottom of this page - See Booking online Course)
- Cost: $25 (paid directly to St. John Ambulance).
- Allow yourself enough time — the online training can take up to 8 hours to complete.
2️⃣ Register for the In-Person Class
- Visit the Class Details or Recertification area on our website to register for the in-person session.
- Complete your registration by sending your e-transfer to valleyviewagsociety@gmail.com for $225 (includes GST).
3️⃣ Attend the Practical Session
- Bring your proof of completion from the St. John Ambulance online course to your in-person training on January 23, 2025.
Recertification
First Time or Expired Certification
Recertification
If your current First Aid certification is still valid (expiring within 90 days and not yet lapsed), you only need to complete the in-person training — no online portion required.
1️⃣ Confirm Eligibility
- Your existing First Aid certification must be current (cannot be expired).
- If your certificate has already lapsed, please follow the First-Time or Expired Certification steps instead.
2️⃣ Register for the In-Person Class
- Visit the Class Details or Recertification area on our website to register for the in-person session.
- Complete your registration by sending your e-transfer to valleyviewagsociety@gmail.com for $225 (includes GST).
3️⃣ Attend the Practical Session
- Attend the one-day in-person class on November 25, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Valleyview Agricultural Hall.
