We are so overwhelmed by the generosity of the community for the silent auction. Thank you to everyone who came out to bid it up, dance it up and have a good time. Huge community support at this event. THANK YOU EVERYONE
For a full list of the support for the silent auction please see the Community Support page under new facility heading at top of page.
My family resides in Sunset House and has been involved in agriculture over the years. We love to spend our time in the saddle going to clinics, jackpots, and rodeos participating in barrel racing, team roping and breakaway roping. Being involved over the decades with the Ag Society has been rewarding and challenging and will continue to be. The community deserves to have facilities where agriculture is educational, entertaining and accessible. I have a goal of making positive connections and partnerships within and around the community to involve all ages in experiencing workshops, events and volunteering opportunities at the Ag Society grounds and other locations. A new focus of building an Ag Events Centre is on the agenda which will be a huge undertaking, but the new Board is energetic, keen and full of promising ideas. I still live by the 4-H motto “Learn To Do By Doing”.
Booking online is available again! Under the Facilities and Rentals tab you will find the Book Now buttons- Through there you will be able to see real time availabilities. When using the facilities members and non members require a key to access the arena. If you do not have a key or need your key to be activated, contact the office prior to your scheduled booking to make arrangements.
Did you know there is a variety of canine activities for your dog at the Ag. Society. The Valleyview SNIFF Club meets every couple of weeks to practice scent based dog games and activities that build confidence, obedience and communication.
